Responsibilities
This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in HR practices and support the department in daily administrative tasks, employee personnel file Management hard/Soft.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support:
o Assist in maintaining employee records and HR documentation.
o Ensure that all documents are archived in compliance with SIF, governments and donors procedures and guidelines.
o Scan and archive documents. This involves converting physical documents into digital format for easy storage and retrieval.
o Sorting, categorizing, and indexing documents for archival purposes.
o Help organize and maintain HR files, both electronic and physical.
2. Recruitment:
o Arraignments interviews/ test.
o Assist in coordinating interviews and communicating with candidates.
3. Employee Engagement:
o Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities and events.
o Help distribute communications, such as Memos and announcements.
o Prepare notice board weekly basis, disseminate all notices on time
4. HR Projects:
o Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
5. General Support:
o Ensuring confidentiality of all HR data and updating relevant information
o Close follow up on HR yearly Calendar
o Meeting arrangements
o Support the HR team with various ad hoc tasks and projects.
• Additional tasks as assigned by HR departments based on organizational needs.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and contributing to the team
Salary and Benefits
The HR Volunteer will work part-time for 2 months. Under the supervision of the HR department, the HR Volunteer will assist in scanning and archiving documents and processing payments. These tasks are essential to support the smooth running of the HR department and ensure efficient operations within the organization.
