Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze the humanitarian context in Syria, with a special focus on the agriculture sector.
- Designs or adjusts data-collection tools; Collects data using data-collection tools and devices; Enters data into and maintains the survey database; Performs basic qualitative and quantitative data analysis; Describes results and produces data visualizations; Contributes to internal reporting.
-Plans, implements, and monitors agriculture programme including aid distributions, seed multiplication, seed and tool distribution and capacity-building.
- Contribute to the assessment, design, implementation and monitoring of the Local Livelihood Initiatives projects (Community Projects) related to agriculture programs.
- Maintains and develops a network of external contacts at the local and district/Governorate levels (members of the population, community leaders, authorities, NGOs, etc.) in consultation with their direct supervisor.
- With Economic Security Coordination team, plans, organizes and actively participates in field visits as needed to provide technical support to Sub-delegations and Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branches.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in agronomy.
- Typically, 3-5 years’ experience in a similar field.
- Good command (spoken and written) and English.
