Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead stakeholder and communities Mapping exercises, Value Chain, and Market Analysis activities to inform program decision-making and delivery process at the field level.
• Lead the direct implementation of Oxfam FSL activities including community mobilisation, beneficiary registration and verification, and market-based interventions.
• Lead and coordinate Oxfam staff and resources across the EFSVL projects and targeted locations to ensure that programs are implemented in line with Oxfam policy and agreed standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual plans for the project in collaboration with the project team.
• Provide regular technical support to the frontline field team and local partners considering value chain approaches, promising products selection, agribusiness, and Market improvement activities.
• Lead community mobilisation and beneficiary identification and verification process for early recovery and resilience intervention along the value chain
• Facilitate and supervise the design and implementation of the development of market system approach and small business financial and non-financial support activities with all thematic stakeholders.
• Conduct quarterly review meetings with the project team to discuss the progress and challenges and advise any adjustments required considering the changing context.
• Coordinate and support Project Support Committees to participate in decision-making and delivery processes along the value chain.
• Supervise and support EFSVL Assistant, field support personnel and site engineers to better deliver on his/her role and responsibilities.
• Organize regular meetings with key stakeholders and market actors at community level to provide updates and timely resolve issues.
• Other duties may be reasonably required in supporting the delivery of team objectives and outcomes and any other responsibilities assigned by the Team Leader

In addition:
• Bachelor’s degree in economic or other related Fields (engineering, social science, agriculture)
• 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in implementing food security and livelihood project activities.
• 2 years of demonstrated experience in implementing market-based and/or value chain-programmes and livelihood activities.
• Experience in supporting enterprises (home based businesses, micro and small enterprises)
• Demonstrated experience in use of participatory approaches to undertake value chain intervention, assessment and analysis with community leaders, local authorities, private and market actors and local partners.
• Proven experience in managing and supervising teams, including performance management, delegation, and mentoring (minimum 1 year).
• Demonstrated experience in gender and protection mainstreaming.
• Strong understanding of local socio-economic development issues, institutions, and local contexts for target communities.
• Proactive and with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated experience in project management cycle.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or project management tools.
• Flexibility Under Pressure and ability to manage Work Stress.
• Strong ability to work within a team and consult with a wide range of staff colleagues.
• Attention to Detail and Excellent Numeracy.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic.
Desirable:
• Master’s degree in economic or other related Fields (engineering, social science, agriculture)
• 3 or more years of experience in implementing business support value chain activities
