Responsibilities
Main tasks:
1. Collect, analyze and convey information about the political and security situation as well as context
changes to ensure the safety of the team.
The Humanitarian Access & liaison officer is responsible for: - Ensure a daily monitoring of the context (political and Humanitarian) by following media, social
networks and by liaising with SI team and other NGOs. - Provide the Humanitarian Security and Access Manager with regular and timely updates on the situation
and any sudden changes in the access conditions in the area of intervention. - Collect and gather any security incidents in a database and linked map. Share with the Humanitarian
Security and Access Manager on a monthly basis or on a demand. - Develop and update SI access maps which includes field-based and updated understanding of the
political, social, security and humanitarian situation including different stakeholders per provinces. - Produce reporting on contextual and security changes. - Participate in meetings with different parties and organize meetings every time it is necessary (with
external partners and/or SI staff).
2. Expand and maintain SI’s network of relevant contacts inside NWS
The Humanitarian Access & Security officer is responsible for: - Establish and maintain a network of contacts allowing the collection of information related with
humanitarian access and the context, in the current areas of intervention and areas where the mission
intends to develop new programs. - Promote learning and sharing of best practice in obtaining humanitarian access. - Develop SI network among the different stakeholders and keep it up to date. - Maintain relationships with all relevant security stakeholders and update the contact list accordingly.
3. Support the Field coordinator and Humanitarian Security and Access manager with the security
management of SI team and assets.
- Validate and follow up the daily movements, including day to day movement. - Validate the field weekly movement planning in accordance with logistics department. - Contribute and participate to security officers’ meetings and other relevant forums when requested. - Support implementation and the update of security packages, as well as the evacuation and
hibernation/relocation procedures. - Contribute on defining and providing security briefings for expatriates and national staff. - Contribute to the management of security incidents. Contribute of measures to safeguard the physical
well-being of the SI teams. - Contribute to the management of phases of confinement, enclosure and relocation or evacuation of the
bases.
Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
• A university degree.
• A minimum of (5) years of experience in the relevant filed (Access and security) .
• Security management or related trainings are desirable.
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Strong communication skills.
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are desirable.

Salary and Benefits
SI will offer a monthly salary of 980 USD, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
