Responsibilities
General Role
The Registration Officer / Social Worker is responsible for managing beneficiary registration processes and conducting social assessments to identify protection needs and appropriate service referrals. The role ensures that individuals and families accessing the community center receive proper assessment, guidance, and connection to relevant services while maintaining accurate records and beneficiary data.
Work Locations: Azaz – Safira – Manbij – Aleppo
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure proper reception procedures and organization of individuals visiting the community center for registration.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for each registered individual or family to identify factors affecting their protection and wellbeing, and refer them to appropriate services accordingly.
- Enter and manage beneficiary data within the designated data management system used in community centers, in accordance with approved procedures and standards.
- Conduct home visits and field assessments for vulnerable individuals who are unable to reach the community center, as well as within the center’s areas of intervention.
- Follow up with referred beneficiaries to ensure they successfully access the required services.
- Respond to inquiries and requests from beneficiaries, providing accurate information and guidance.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
