Responsibilities
Main areas of responsibility:
The HR OFFICER ensures the correct implementation of all HR procedures within the organization, is responsible for recruitments, contract renewal, employee relations, performance management, Training and Development and HR administration.

In coordination with COOPIHR manager (Line Manager),
OBJECTIVES
. Respect existing HR procedures
. Support projects with all HR operations.
.Respect and follow-up the COOPI HR procedures

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY
. Accountable for the fair and true selection process of new employees
. Accountable for the calculation of the payroll, social security and potential taxes.

FUNCTIONS
. Human resources

. Recruitment, on boarding:

- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Ensure a proper follow up on recruitment files and compliance with recruitment procedures
- Review recruitment requests, In coordination with HR manager
- Drafts job descriptions and vacancy announcements following indications given by coordination and COOPI internal standards.
- Evaluate candidate credentials (short listing)
- Conducts interviews
- Reviews and/or prepare panelrecommendations on the selection of candidates
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation sessions, ensuring new employees are equipped with the necessary information and resources to succeed.

. Administrative follow up of HR activities
- Ensure a proper follow up on administrative files and compliance with internal process
- Provide support and responses to inquiries related to the interpretations of staff rules and operational policies
- Maintain HR files up to date
- Monitor the expirations of contracts and salary payments, HR manager .
. Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues through effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.
. Performance Management:
- Support the performance appraisal process by coordinating performance reviews, collecting feedback, and assisting in the development of performance improvement plans.
- Maintain accurate records of employee performance evaluations and related documentation.
. Training and Development:
- Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops, ensuring effective delivery and participation.
. HR Administration:
- Maintain HR databases and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and presentations for management review.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
. Performs other duties as requested
- When required, translate documents from English into Arabic and vice versa and/or check translations done
- When required, support the HR manager in writing contracts and documents

Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor in Business administration/HR.
- previous relevant experience in HR field.
- High level of Arabic and English written and spoken
- Good computer skills
- Precision, capacity to listen and to propose solutions
- Dynamic with a strong team spirit
- Flexible and able to work under pressure
- Good personality, communication skills and positive attitude

Contract Type and Duration:
This is a full-time position under a 3-month renewable contract.
