Responsibilities
* Payroll Operations Management
Payroll Processing Oversight:
Lead and manage the full payroll cycle including salary calculations, allowances, overtime, deductions, incentives, and end-of-service benefits to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Payroll Verification & Approval:
Review and approve payroll registers, adjustments, reconciliations, and final payroll outputs prior to processing to maintain payroll accuracy.
* Compliance & Governance
Regulatory Compliance Management:
Ensure payroll operations comply with labor laws, tax regulations, social insurance requirements, and internal company policies.
Audit & Documentation Control:
Maintain complete payroll documentation and records to support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
* Payroll Systems Administration
HRIS & Payroll System Management:
Oversee payroll system functionality, including configuration, updates, and integration with HR and finance systems to ensure reliable payroll operations.
System Enhancements & Testing:
Support system upgrades, testing, and the implementation of new payroll features to improve operational efficiency.
Payroll Reporting & Financial Controls
Payroll Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare monthly payroll reports, summaries, and variance analyses to support management decision-making.
Financial Reconciliation Management:
Coordinate with Finance to reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts, accruals, and payroll liabilities.
* Employee Payroll Support
Payroll Inquiry Resolution:
Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner to maintain employee satisfaction and trust.
Policy Guidance:
Provide clarification and guidance to employees and managers on payroll policies,procedures, and calculation methodologies.
Team Leadership & Development
Team Supervision:
Lead, mentor, and supervise payroll team members, ensuring efficient workloadallocation and high-quality service delivery.
Capability Development:
Support staff development through coaching, training, and performancemonitoring to strengthen payroll expertise and team productivity.
Process Improvement & Automation
Payroll Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities to streamline payroll workflows and enhanceautomation to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
Lead payroll process improvement projects and standardization initiatives aligned with organizational best practices.
