Responsibilities
General Role:
The Stabilization Support Unit (SSU)/ Stabilization Organization is seeking to recruit a Focal Point Camp Operations Management to support the coordination and implementation of daily operational activities within Aq Burhan Camp. The position is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of camp operations, supporting field teams, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and maintaining effective communication between operational, protection, and service teams.
The role contributes to strengthening operational efficiency, ensuring proper organization of distributions and field activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting accountability and beneficiary service standards in line with humanitarian principles and organizational procedures. The position requires strong field coordination, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work in a dynamic camp environment while ensuring compliance with operational and protection standards.

Contract Duration: 6 Months
Duty Station: Aq Burhan Camp

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Implement and follow up on daily operational activities within the camp to ensure workflow continuity and integration with other departments (DoSAL Team - Protection Team), in accordance with the instructions of the Camp Operations Manager.
2. Supervise ORVs, field teams, and daily workers within the camp, assign tasks to them, monitor their performance, and document attendance schedules to ensure quality implementation and discipline.
3. Support and organize distribution processes within the camp, including organizing beneficiaries and ensuring smooth delivery operations while verifying deliveries against approved lists, ensuring data accuracy and consistency with official records.
4. Verify distributed quantities against approved plans, report any discrepancies or errors, document all field operations (distributions, attendance, daily movements), and prepare accurate and organized records and reports as required.
5. Coordinate with stakeholders, relevant entities, and government institutions during operations to ensure implementation in accordance with approved standards and procedures.
6. Follow up on beneficiary complaints and inquiries, and link them with the front office to ensure effective registration and resolution.
7. Maintain the confidentiality of beneficiary data and ensure secure and organized record management.
8. Respond swiftly to field problems during daily operations and take appropriate actions in coordination with the Camp Operations Manager.
9. Submit periodic reports on workflow, challenges, and achievement rates to the Camp Operations Manager within the specified timeframe.
10. Perform any additional tasks related to the nature of work as assigned by the Camp Operations Manager.



Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Humanitarian Studies, Social Sciences, or any related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in camp management, humanitarian operations, or field coordination.
- Previous experience working in camps or displacement settings is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to supervise field teams and manage daily operational activities effectively.
- Good understanding of humanitarian principles, accountability, confidentiality, and protection standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to field challenges professionally.
- Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and data management tools.
- Fluency in Arabic is required; basic English skills are preferred.
