Responsibilities
Territory & Account Coverage
• Execute the Power & Energy Division commercial plan (segmentation, targeting, and
route-to-market) within the assigned territory.
• Maintain an up-to-date territory plan covering active power projects, key accounts,
utilities, IPPs, contractors, and key industrial customers.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new opportunities through customer visits, site
assessments, market intelligence, and energy demand analysis. Pipeline & CRM
Discipline
• Build and manage a healthy, predictable sales pipeline aligned with quarterly and
annual Power & Energy targets.
• Ensure accurate and timely CRM updates, complying with lead aging rules,
opportunity stages, forecasting, and documentation standards.
Pricing, Tenders & Deal Execution
• Apply approved pricing frameworks, discount guidelines, and commercial
governance for Power & Energy solutions.
• Prepare complete and compliant quotations, technical-commercial proposals, and
tender submissions (including EPC, rental, or long-term service agreements where
applicable).
Support negotiations for power projects and framework agreements in coordination
with the Head of Power & Energy and internal stakeholders.
Customer Engagement & Value Selling
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders including utilities, industrial
clients, EPC contractors, consultants, facility managers, and business owners.
• Present power generation and energy solutions that address reliability, fuel
efficiency, emissions compliance, and total cost of ownership.
• Collaborate closely with Aftermarket, Service, and Rental teams to ensure smooth
handover, lifecycle support, contract renewals, and upsell opportunities.
Programs, Reporting & Market Intelligence
• Execute OEM and divisional Power & Energy programs, campaigns, and reporting
requirements in line with standards.
• Provide structured feedback on competitors, power market trends, regulatory
impacts, customer energy needs, and emerging opportunities (e.g., hybrid, backup,
prime power).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or energy-related),
business, or a related field.
• 3–7 years’ experience in power generation, energy solutions, industrial equipment,
or B2B project sales; exposure to tenders and project-based sales is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of pricing discipline, proposal development, and commercial
negotiations in Power & Energy contexts.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills, with the ability to engage
technical, commercial, and regulatory stakeholders.
