Responsibilities
• Develop and implement the overall facilities maintenance strategy in alignment with Technical Department policies and airport operational objectives.
• Lead preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance planning to ensure system reliability, operational continuity, and compliance with aviation and safety standards.
• Oversee execution of maintenance activities across electrical, electronic, mechanical, building, and infrastructure systems.
• Ensure availability and performance of critical airport assets in support of Operations Department requirements.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs and KPOs, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, expert guidance, and advisory support on maintenance-related matters.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Asset Management teams to assess asset condition, aging, and lifecycle planning.
• Prepare structured reports covering maintenance performance, system reliability, risk exposure, and improvement actions.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost optimization while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Contribute to capital investment planning and long-term asset renewal strategies.
• Lead and develop maintenance teams, ensuring competency, performance evaluation, training, and workforce engagement.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations across all maintenance operations.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of maintenance priorities with operational and project requirements.
• Drive implementation of maintenance management systems, data analytics, and process optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, MEP, or related discipline)
• Master’s Degree or MBA is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in industrial or facilities maintenance management.
• Experience within airport operations, infrastructure, or concession-based environments is highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of asset lifecycle planning and maintenance optimization.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulatory, safety, and compliance frameworks.
• Budgeting and cost optimization capability.
• Data-driven performance analysis and KPI management.
• Leadership and decision-making skills in complex operational environments.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
