Responsibilities
• Monitor and ensure the safety of airside infrastructure, including lighting, pavement, and signage, and initiate immediate corrective actions for any hazards.
• Oversee the response to airside emergencies and incidents in accordance with the Airport Emergency Plan (AEP) during the shift.
• Conduct regular airside inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational instructions.
• Manage real-time resource adjustments for stands and gates in coordination with the AOCC to mitigate operational delays.
• Manage airside operations during assigned shifts and ensure continuous operational readiness.
• Act as the primary escalation and decision-making authority for airside-related operational issues during the shift.
• Coordinate airside activities with AOCC, terminal operations, airlines, ground handling agents, and support units.
• Monitor airside operational performance and address deviations, risks, or irregularities.
• Ensure implementation of airside operational procedures, instructions, and corrective actions.
• Supervise airside supervisors, coordination teams, and specialists during the shift.
• Review airside operational reports, logs, and incident records and ensure accuracy.
• Support implementation of recovery actions during irregular operations.
• Ensure effective shift handover and continuity between shifts.
• Provide operational updates and recommendations to the Airside Ops Director.
• Perform additional duties assigned by senior management within the scope of airside operations.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in airside operations or airport operational environments.
• Prior experience in a duty management or supervisory role is preferred.
• Knowledge of ICAO Annex 14 and local aviation regulatory requirements for aerodrome operations.
• Proficiency in the use of Airport Management Systems (AMS) and real-time monitoring tools
• Strong knowledge of airside operations and shift-based operational management.
• Ability to manage operational risks and make timely decisions under pressure.
• Understanding of escalation, coordination, and reporting processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
