Responsibilities
• Manage and control accounting records and period-end closing processes in line with defined timelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and financial reports.
• Review and control all tax declarations, statutory filings, and regulatory submissions.
• Monitor fixed assets, depreciation, valuation, and foreign exchange difference transactions.
• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and applicable legislation.
• Plan and distribute tasks within the accounting team and ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure accurate SAP accounting entries in line with defined procedures and reporting requirements.
• Monitor legislative updates and ensure timely adaptation to accounting records and processes.
• Prepare and submit internal and external reports requested by management and authorities.
• Review contracts from an accounting perspective and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Manage daily accounting operations including invoice processing, approvals, and postings.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Manage accounting-related ERP (SAP) configuration, development, and improvement activities.
• Coordinate internal, independent, and statutory audit processes.
• Maintain effective relationships with tax offices, regulatory authorities, and external auditors.
• Support tax planning initiatives and evaluate opportunities for tax efficiency.
• Manage departmental budget preparation and monitoring activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team through performance management and training.
• Ensure confidentiality, data security, and compliance with internal controls and KPIs.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• At least 3–5 years of managerial or team leadership experience.
• Strong experience in tax compliance, statutory reporting, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, tax legislation, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong financial reporting, analysis, and audit coordination skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
