Responsibilities
Partnership Management
-Support partners kick-offs, review and closure meetings led by the Partnership Manager across all sectors and grants
-Coordinate with programme and support departments to ensure quality implementation, compliance and regular reporting of partner sub-grant
-Conduct monitoring visits to partners’ field offices and share visit report, recommendations and follow-up actions
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date and complete documentation of all partnership-related processes and documents, ensuring compliance with internal policies and donor requirements
-Ensure all partnership information is accurately recorded and regularly updated in the Partnership Tracker.
-Ensure the timely submission of partner reports and liaise with relevant Medair staff to review.
-Ensure donor visibility guidelines are clearly communicated and met by partners
-Support partners to implement programme activities in accordance with donor requirements, Medair standards and sector-specific technical guidance, including the use of appropriate delivery modalities
-Support partners to apply appropriate standards for accountability, safeguarding, information management and data protection throughout programme implementation
Partner identification and assessment
-Support new partners identification process across all sectors
-Work with relevant staff to ensure all partners undergo capacity assessment and vetting prior to partnering with Medair
-Support partner mapping, selection, and assessment for technical capacity building.
-Support partner assessments and due diligence processes
Partner Capacity Building
-Collect data from partners’ assessment to develop tailored capacity building plans
-Ensure conducting pre-and-post training assessments
-Support the proper implementation of the capacity building plans for partners in coordination with other departments
-Ensure regular follow-up and coordination with our partners
-Support facilitating induction training sessions for Medair staff on partnership new processes and tools
-Support training sessions by setting up the venue, preparing attendee materials, welcoming, and registering trainees
Qualifications
-A university degree required in one of the following fields: international relations, programme management, international development, social sciences, or related relevant field.
-3 to 5 years of experience in international organizations and humanitarian settings, specifically in partnerships, grants and programme management, capacity building.
-Experience in cash and health projects as an asset
-Skills and experience in managing and coordinating with multiple partners concurrently are highly regarded.
-Fluency in English and Arabic is required
-Strong level of computer literacy
