- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Gender or development studies, social science, or related discipline) combined with 3 years minimum experience in Gender, GBV, protection and social work.
- Or Diploma degree preferably in Gender or development studies, social science, or related discipline) combined with 5 years minimum experience in Gender, GBV, protection and social work.
- Experience working with IDPs, and other vulnerable populations (refugees-returnees) with INGOs/INGOs
- Ability to communicate in English, write reports in English and consolidate the reports into formal English documentation, including translation of documents into either Arabic or English
-Experience and understanding of and experience of working in the humanitarian or development sector.
- Experience working with an international organization (such as INGOs, UN agencies or the like).
- Experience in Training local actors in the region on gender equality,
- Demonstrating understanding and sensitivity to poverty, gender, and diversity issues
Demonstrated willingness and eagerness to work within organizational and operational procedures and ability to apply and implement.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders, Donors, beneficiaries and targeted groups.
