Responsibilities
• Develop short-term and long-term production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and line constraints.
• Manage material requirements planning (MRP) for raw materials, packaging, and ingredients.
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and drive inventory optimization to meet working capital targets.
• Identify and resolve capacity, material, and scheduling constraints through cross-functional collaboration.
• Track planning KPIs including schedule adherence, OTIF, inventory turns, and material shortages.
• Support new product launches, promotions, and package changes by aligning production and material plans.
• Use SAP APO/PP/MM to maintain planning master data and execute planning processes.
• Participate in daily and weekly supply chain meetings to communicate plan changes and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and system utilization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field required.
• 3+ years of production and material planning experience in manufacturing, preferably food/beverage/CPG.
• Strong knowledge of SAP PP/MM/APO or similar planning systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of lean supply chain and inventory management principles.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
