Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will serve as the chief architect of the organization’s financial strategy, growth, and risk management framework. Beyond traditional fiscal stewardship, this specialized role is responsible for pioneering, scaling, and managing strategic partnerships with global exchange houses, fintech platforms, and correspondent banks.
The ideal candidate will optimize cross-border liquidity, mitigate foreign exchange (FX) volatility, and leverage exchange partnerships to reduce transaction frictions and support global expansion.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
📈 Strategic Financial Leadership & Capital Management
Financial Vision: Formulate and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with global expansion and corporate objectives.
Treasury & Liquidity: Oversee global treasury functions, ensuring optimal capital allocation, liquidity management, and cash flow efficiency across multiple jurisdictions.
Corporate Governance: Direct the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses for presentation to the Board of Directors and investors.
🤝 Exchange Partnerships & FX Strategy Optimization
Partnership Development: Source, negotiate, and execute high-value strategic partnerships with international exchange houses, money transfer operators (MTOs), and digital remittance platforms.
Commercial Negotiation: Secure institutional-grade FX rates, volume-based discounts, and minimized clearing/settlement fees to lower cross-border transaction costs.
FX Risk Management & Hedging: Design, implement, and monitor sophisticated hedging strategies (forwards, options, swaps) to protect corporate margins against currency fluctuations.
Payment Infrastructure: Collaborate with Product and IT departments to integrate partner APIs into internal ERP and payment ecosystems, optimizing settlement speeds and automating reconciliation.
🔎 Compliance, Risk Mitigation & Governance
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain rigorous alignment with central bank regulations, financial authorities, and cross-border remittance frameworks.
AML/CFT Frameworks: Ensure all exchange networks and transactional pipelines comply strictly with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) international protocols.
Financial Reporting: Oversee the timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts in strict accordance with IFRS or GAAP standards.


Qualifications
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration. An MBA or Master’s in Finance from a top-tier institution is highly preferred.

Certifications (Highly Valued): Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).

Specific Vacancy Requirements
Tenure: 10 to 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive capacity (CFO, VP of Finance, or Head of Treasury).
