Responsibilities
Assist in the daily coordination and management of ongoing projects.
-
Contribute to internal learning processes and maintain up-to-date records and documentation.
-
Contribute to the preparation of detailed work plans and ensure activities align with the organization& goals and objectives.
-
Monitor project implementation, track progress against indicators, and report on key milestones.
-
Support the resolution of implementation challenges in collaboration with relevant departments.
-
Participate in the development of project proposals, concept notes, and budgets.
-
Assist in collecting and analyzing needs assessment data to inform project design.
-
Ensure proposals are developed in accordance with organizational strategies and donor guidelines.
-
Liaise with Projects staff, implementing partners, and other departments to facilitate project implementation and community engagement.
-
If Requested, represent the organization in relevant coordination forums, including UN cluster meetings and technical working groups, as required.
-
Support the monitoring and evaluation of project activities to assess relevance, efficiency, and impact.

Contribute to the development of MEAL tools and data collection processes, if requested.

Assist in compiling and drafting periodic narrative and financial reports in coordination with relevant departments.

Participate in learning reviews and incorporate feedback into project implementation.
-
Support in documenting project outcomes, success stories, and lessons learned.

Assist in the preparation of internal and external reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

Help communicate project objectives, activities, and outcomes to stakeholders through various channels.
-
Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures during project implementation.
-
Provide constructive feedback to improve operational efficiency and program quality.


Specific Vacancy Requirements
Abilities:
-
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in project management, humanitarian response, or development programming.
-
Experience in coordination with different stakeholders
-
Proven experience in proposal development, reporting and implementation
-
Previous experience in representing an organization in internal and external meetings.
-
Experience in building strong relations and networking with key people within the local, national and international levels, including with various UN agencies, I/NGO, Forums etc
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Arabic
-
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing environment
Skills:
Technical Skills Knowledge:
-
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, especially in crisis or emergency situations.
-
Knowledge of humanitarian principles, international standards, and local laws.
-
Understanding of program development, proposal writing, and project cycle management.
-
Strong reporting and documentation skills.
-
Strong IT skills (programmes such as MS Office, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Leadership Soft Skills:

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities effectively
