Responsibilities
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Program/Technical Delivery
• Identify and support children most at risk, contributing to early risk detection and intervention planning.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions with children and youth in accordance with approved case management procedures, processes, and relevant tools, while maintaining confidentiality and dignity.
• Assess risks and needs and develop comprehensive care plans, safety plans, and case indicators.
• Provide emotional support to children and youth as required.
Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
• Coordinate with the Case Management Supervisor to ensure safe and timely referrals.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with Protection Assistants, Social Counsellors, and other relevant sectors.
• Participate in case management and field-level coordination meetings as required.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)
• Monitor the progress and outcomes of assigned cases and ensure timely follow-up on case action plans.
• Maintain accurate case management data and contribute to weekly and activity reports.
• Identify gaps and lessons learned from case management practice and provide recommendations to improve the quality of services.
Resource Management & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, child protection standards, and project procedures.
• Ensure the appropriate and efficient use of project materials and resources during field activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of project activities and supporting documents in line with organizational requirements.
Team Leadership & Capacity Building
• Supervise and support Psychosocial Support Officers, providing continuous technical guidance and capacity-building support to enhance their performance and ensure effective implementation of activities.
• Identify capacity gaps and provide coaching, feedback, and follow-up support to strengthen staff performance and improve the quality of services


Specific Vacancy Requirements
General Work Experience:
• Essential:
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in child protection, case management, psychosocial support, or humanitarian programs.
• Strong knowledge of child protection principles, case management procedures, safeguarding, referral pathways, and confidentiality.
• Experience in conducting child protection assessments, developing case action plans and safety plans, and following up on cases.
• Strong documentation, reporting, communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, diversity, and inclusion.
• Willingness and ability to conduct regular field visits within project areas.
• Desirable :
• Previous experience working in schools or education programs, particularly in child protection and case management.
• Experience in coordinating with school staff, Child Protection Officers, Social Counsellors, education authorities, and relevant service providers.
• Practical knowledge of child protection case management, assessment, case action planning, referrals, follow-up, and safeguarding mechanisms within school environments.
