Responsibilities
Coordinate with local partners to develop the selection criteria for livelihood beneficiaries and involve the targeted community in the process
Conduct assessments and make recommendations to the project manager for the selection of project beneficiaries
Train beneficiaries on small business management
Assist beneficiaries develop plans and suggest improvements where necessary
Develop and implement a comprehensive system of beneficiary follow-up and monitoring
Conduct monitoring using standard monitoring tools to measure the impact of project activities
Report on a daily basis to the project manager on activities, achievements, challenges and plans
Make recommendations on improvements and potential expansion of project activities.
Identify and address risks or challenges that may impact the success of the project.
Document and maintain accurate records of project activities, this includes beneficiary profiles and the training sessions they attended, along with the specification of their small business.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, development or similar
• At least 3 years’ experience in small business management, coordinating microenterprise, livelihood projects or similar roles
• Good communication, interpersonal and coordination skills that are sensitive to the cultural environment
• Good computer skills
• Good understanding of the context of Deir ez-Zour Governorate and its people.
• Good English skills
