Responsibilities
Objective (1): Planning and system strengthening
o Support the departmental planning which includes monthly, quarterly and annual planning by designing key activities for monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning at the governorate level in consultation with program focal points.
o Study and understand the project MEAL plans designed by the MEAL department and implement the proposed monitoring activities efficiently at the governorate level.
o Support MEAL department in the design of data collection tools, by providing general feedback on the contents, usage, productivity and accuracy along with supporting the mock exercises and piloting processes of the tools. This may also include the translation of tools into local language.
o Support the MEAL department in drafting, uploading, and corroborating projects on KOBO using the software online builder.
o Coordinate with project teams as MEAL focal point at the governorate level attending coordination meetings to make a synergy between program and MEAL planning.
Objective (2): Monitoring Evaluation, and Data collection
o Under the overall guidance of MEAL department WeWorld GVC, conduct regular monitoring visits to the field and collect monitoring data on progress and quality of implementation.
o Make sure that the targets for field monitoring is achieved efficiently as described in the monthly and project MEAL plans.
o Record and report responses using standard checklists and data collection tools as and when required.
o Collect high-quality quantitative and qualitative data using different types of surveys as per the requirement of project MEAL plans (ie: exit interviews, Post distribution Monitoring, Satisfaction Surveys, FGDs. etc).
o Enter the monitoring data into central Kobo toolbox server for corroboration and analysis along with ensuring data cleaning at the early stages.
o Draft field visit reports using standard visit report template and coordinate the findings with Country MEAL department.
Objective (3): Accountability and Feedback Mechanisms
o Collect, register, process, and respond to feedback and complaints received in the base office.
o Introduce and implement the CFM in new activities which contain awareness raising sessions about the CFM used in certain activities with the targeted community and stakeholders.
o Provide periodical reports on Complaint and feedback data base.
o Ensure that the different complaint and feedback agreed channels (i.e.: complaint boxes, hotline, helpdesk) are set in place.
o Manage and implement staff complaints and feedback mechanisms in the base office.
Objective (4) Learning and Knowledge Management:
o Carry out local staff inductions on MEAL work along with basic capacity building and orientations on MEAL plans and methodologies of data collection.
o Carry out various lessons learnt activities including collection of major lessons learnt in the field and sharing it with the department on regular basis.
o Collect success stories and case studies with an objective to enhance learning in various projects implemented at the governorate level.
Objective (5) Reporting on Results:
o Support in Indicator tracking reporting on a monthly basis by verifying project data, collecting the beneficiaries counting, and reporting against indicators per each activity in the governorate.
o Support the MEAL department in analysing the assessment results in Kobo tool box and writing basic reports catering to results at the governorate level.
o Support MEAL department in preparing Situational reports (SITREP) on a monthly basis.
o Contribute to outgoing reports for various projects per the guidance of the country MEAL office.
o Contribute to monthly and quarterly internal reporting of the department.

Qualifications
- Educational Background: o Bachelor degree in social fields or relevant major (ie: Economics, Management, social sciences, statistics, international development).
- Experience: At least 2 years experience in the same or similar position, and one year with INGOs/UN.
- Languages: Proficient in Arabic and English.
