Responsibilities
Job Summary:
In charge of providing and implementing, the necessary means (procedures, work instructions) to ensure the reliability, continuity and consistency of the CS and ERS Systems. Provides the needed reporting and fault symptoms for CS and ERS Systems.
Responsilblities:
*Run the steps/tasks of the operational work instructions to ensure the successful CS & ERS operational delivery (daily, weekly, monthly and yearly).
*Daily checks (e.g. Ticket files delivery, fraud detection and event files and monitoring tools).*Reconciliation and data consistency checks.
*Close monitoring of system performance and dimensioning (BHCA and CAPS).
*Monitoring the systems’ performance (File systems and related DBs)
*Run and administrate CS Platform operations (e.g. subscriber creation, Batch jobs, and links configuration).
*Generate regular reporting from CS & ERS systems and ensure their figures are correct (e.g. monthly reports).
*Provide the tools to detect and log all irregularities in historical database for further investigation and evaluation (e.g. link errors, link load and utilization and HD errors etc…).
*Assist in developing and documenting the operational procedures and work instructions.
*Support in the helpdesk delivery and plays a major role in following up requests and closing them within the agreed time (with concerned department).
*Play a second level support for CS & ERS services.
*Acts immediately when the monitoring tools raise any alert.
*Undertake the helpdesk cases assigned from helpdesk unit team. Ensure that the cases are properly and closed within agreed time line.
