Responsibilities
II. Objectives of the Assignment
Escalate any issues, risks, discrepancies, and challenges that affect/may affect project implementation.
Supervise data collection efforts, monitor progress, and compile accurate and timely reports on project implementation and impact.
Maintain close coordination with field management team and project coordinator , to ensure alignment with overall field goals and objectives.
Prepare progress reports as required, documenting the advancement of the project and assist to identify and document success stories, best practices and lesson learned.
Establish and maintain relationships and work in close collaboration with area office team and project coordinator to ensure that all programming, financial and administrative matters related to the project are transparently, expediently, and effectively managed, in line with established UNDP Rules and Regulations.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including team members, partners, and beneficiaries, to foster effective communication and cooperation.
Ensure supervision of the Project personnel and ensure effective communication and coordination between the relevant project staff and the UNDP field office.

III. Scope of work (Indicate if this is Time-Based Contract or Output Based)
Working under the direct supervision of the area associate, and reporting to the project coordinator, she/he is responsible for
Coordinate the execution of program initiatives, ensuring alignment with objectives.
Facilitate on-site coordination among various project activities.
Ensure that updates are provided in a timely manner, keeping stakeholders informed about relevant developments and changes as they occur.
Monitor the evolving context and flag any foreseeable contextual changes that might hinder the implementation of planned activities.
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on project activities and outcomes.
Ensure seamless coordination of project activities to eliminate redundancy and prevent duplication.
Ensure the elements of GEWE, social inclusion and resilience are effectively reflected in the implementation of project activities and outcomes.
Support locally driven evidence/ data collection to support representation on priority issues.
Maintain accurate records of program activities.
Compile case studies, success stories, and lessons learned.
Address challenges that arise during field operations and suggest practical solutions.
Performance Indicators for Evaluation of Results
Timely and quality monitoring and evaluation of program activities.
Effective communication and engagement with relevant stakeholders.
Reporting completed in a timely and qualitative fashion in line with the applicable requirements.
Identification and escalation of problems requiring management attention.
IV. Final product/Deliverables (For Output Based Contracts, clearly indicate milestones and percentage of total lump sum that will be paid for completion of each milestone)

VI. Recruitment Qualifications
Education: A first-level university degree or master’s degree in a relevant field (ideally in management, public relations, social studies, economics, engineering
Experience: At least three years of relevant professional experience (Coordination, Supervision and reporting) experience in multi-sectoral and multi-stakeholder interventions is an asset.
Experience with the UN; equivalent relevant other experience will be considered.
Demonstrated reporting and coordination skills.
Experience in utilizing computers including word processing and other software packages.
Language Requirements: Fluent in Arabic and competent in English.
