Responsibilities
- Installing security systems and controls.
- Inspecting and patrolling premises regularly.
- Monitoring surveillance cameras and reporting suspicious behavior.
- Communicating with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel.
- Monitoring public access and ensuring the security of all personnel and visitors.
- Responding to alarms and analyzing security footage.
- Investigating suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches.
- Maintaining an activity log and preparing surveillance reports.
- Ensuring the implementation of standard security protocols
- Detecting and reporting any irregularities and bringing up suggestions for improvement
- Immediate response to emergencies
- Following required procedures related to fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control, and other related investigations
- Adhering to company policies and legal regulations.

Child Safeguarding (CS)
- Responsible for raising awareness related to SOS Child Protection Policy principles and to prevent and protect children and young people from all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence and discrimination
- Ensure strong focus on CS prevention by organizing informal and formal discussions, workshops and other capacity building activities for children and young people to make them understand the CS risks and protection mechanisms
- Responsible for reporting any CS suspicion, concern, allegation or incident immediately, following Child Safeguarding reporting procedures. CS reports should be made to the CS team at programme level and/or to the respective line manager.

Qualifications
- University degree, a master's degree in a related field is a plus
- Minimum 3 years working experience in the field of Safety & Security.
- Possess strong integrity, emotional intelligence and communication skills.
- Very good command of Arabic and English.

- Any certificates, license, and training related to the field that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Positive working attitude and ability to work under high pressure.
- Proactive and self-motivated to learn and acquire additional competences needed for the job
- Preferable previous experience in the humanitarian sector would be an asset.

Salary and Benefits
the contract is for 6 months with the option of extension.
