Responsibilities
• Act as the main technical adviser on a project site for AKAH regarding the scope of work of the project.
• Study and understand the project documents, implementation plan, and all the project documents.
• Review all the plans, drawings or any documents submitted by the contractor.
• Ensure that all materials used, and work performed are in accordance with the specifications and terms of the contracts.
• Managing and recording all the materials withdrawn by the contractor from AKAH warehouse to the project implementation site.
• Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of the contractor.
• Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site.
• Conduct weekly meetings with the contractor and his site engineers to discuss the project progress and address any NCRs.
• Ensure matching of the claims for payment to the contractor according to the progress stages with what has been implemented on the ground.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and close reports as required to the head of Planning and Building.


Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design, implementation, and supervision of water projects.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to water pumps.
• Experience in conducting visual inspections, non-destructive testing, and laboratory analysis of mechanical water equipment.
