1. Overseeing the hotel's network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and WAN connections, to ensure reliable and secure connectivity for guests and staff.
2. Regularly updating and maintaining hardware and software systems, including servers, computers, and security systems.
3. Providing technical support to hotel staff and guests, troubleshooting issues with computers, printers, and other technology.
4. Implementing and managing cybersecurity measures to protect the hotel's data and systems from threats.
5. Managing hotel management software, including reservation systems, point-of-sale systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
6. Training hotel staff on the use of various technology systems and software.
7. Coordinating with external vendors for the procurement and maintenance of IT equipment and services.
8. Developing and implementing disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures.

3. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
4. Proficiency in network management, cybersecurity, and various hotel management software.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to quickly address technical issues.
6. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with hotel staff and guests.
7. Ability to adapt to new technologies and stay updated with industry trends.
