Responsibilities
1. Assist in the development of the annual commercial roaming & interworking plan.

2. Build alliances with roaming partners by Suggesting IOT “Inter Operator Tariff” wholesale prices negotiating, following up to finalize the steering and IOT discount agreements.
3. Participate in the negotiations of interworking agreements terms and prices.

4. Handle the full cycle of finalizing new Roaming & interworking agreements (SMS – MMS – Voice-Data - …etc.) in terms of (evaluation - coordination with technical and billing testing) and ensure the successful commercial launch.
5. Analyze the roaming partner’s trends in terms of (Revenue - Roamers – MOU “Minute of Use”) and provide timely feedback to next line of authority.
6. Control overall process from idea/concept, feasibility study and business case for each proposed roaming & interworking offers/services or promotion that includes the mechanism, pricing, estimated expenditures, revenue and required promotional tools (ATL (Above the Line) – BTL (Below the Line)), and prepare the related literature.
7. Coordinate the commercial issues between GSMA (Global System for Mobile Communication Association), operators, providers and Syriatel departments.
8. Prepare SY-TPRA (Syrian Telecommunications & Post Regulatory Authority) & EDARA letters in coordination with concerned departments/units and coordinate with Regulatory & Governmental Affairs Unit to get the needed approvals.
9. Check designs, layout/artworks, slogans and content related to roaming & International services/Offers received from communication team and propose the necessary enhancement when needed.
10. Control Wholesale to anticipate changes and achieve a competitive retail with a healthy and sustainable margin.
11. Monitor the product/service performance and life cycle once launched.
12. Identify, solve, and follow up commercial roaming & interworking problems and coordinate with concerned department or operator/provider to ensure effective and timely resolution.
13. Provide concerned parties with complete and accurate feedback about the corrective and preventive actions applied to solve the complaints and keep records.
14. Coordinate with the Telecom Network Quality Assurance Unit to ensure the quality and availability of the interworking services and the quality of coverage on red carpet cells such as borders, airports and important areas to maximize revenue and follow up the corrective actions.
15. Perform regularly traffic statistics, analysis and reports on the evolution of roaming & IW activities.
16. Conduct the necessary surveys with other operators/Providers.

17. Analyze cost structure of roaming and international destinations to optimize the current routing of voice and various messaging types.
18. Verify and monitor the routing of voice, various messaging types and the quality of the international destinations.
19. Coordinate with MIS Billing and Finance teams to ensure that all rates are invoiced and settled correctly.
20. Monitor on a daily basis the roaming and interworking profitability and ensure proper actions are taken to maintain and increase profitability (win back actions, price changes, routing changes, promotions, technical investigations, Steering, leakage, blocking…etc.).
21. Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal obligations for wholesale services as applicable.
22. Track updated information received from roaming partners or relevant Hubs and ensure the continuous update of routing table, and follow up the external updates with the related departments.
23. Ensure implementing fraud preventive processes (or actions) and leakage detection

through testing, coordinating between operators, providers and concerned departments within Syriatel.
24. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in

achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
25. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
26. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.


Qualifications
1. Education & Experience:


 Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/ Business Administration/Economics is required.

 1 year of CS/Marketing experience is a plus.
