Responsibilities
1.Communication Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies.
- Identify key messages and target audiences.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication activities.
2.Content Creation:
- Produce high-quality content for various platforms (e.g., press releases, social media, newsletters, reports).
- Ensure all content aligns with the FCA’s branding and messaging guidelines.
3.Media Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets.
- Coordinate media coverage for events and initiatives.
4.Digital Communication:
- Manage the FCA SYRCO’s social media accounts and website.
- Create engaging digital content to increase online presence.
- Monitor and analyze digital metrics to optimize communication efforts.
5.Internal Communication:
- Facilitate effective internal communication within the organization.
- Develop internal newsletters and updates.
- Support the communication needs of different departments.
6. Crisis/Disaster Communication:
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans.
- Act as the point of contact for media inquiries during crises.
- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.


Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of [3] years of experience in a communication role, preferably within the humanitarian or non-profit sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
