Responsibilities
- Support the risk management, in the country of Syria. Ensure an adequate level
of situational awareness to support and perform risk analysis of the local security situation.
- Analyze the main security threat at field level and provide
advice.
- Ensure that Safety and Security equipment are available and ensure support in establishment of risk treatment measures and access issues are followed up.
- Support in ensuring that structures and systems for safety and security management are in place and respected.
- As liaison, he/she should maintain strong links and communication with all relevant actors and stakeholders that are necessary to ensure the smooth running of INTERSOS operations in responsibility: administrative, political
and military actors, communities, elders, etc.
- He/She assists HoM in day-to-day relations, in order to guarantee the consistency of the flow of information.

Qualifications
- University degree in any field.
- Experience of humanitarian Operations and humanitarian access
in complex emergencies.
- Good understanding of humanitarian safety practices and
principles and their application.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with remote
technical supervision
- Ability to work in remote field locations
- Essential computer literacy (word, excel and Internet)
- Demonstrated practical experience in liaison,
communication/negotiations with authorities and communities,
risk management.
- Experience of humanitarian Operations and humanitarian access
in complex emergencies.
- Good understanding of humanitarian safety practices and
principles and their application.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with remote
