1. Technical Documentation:
• Prepare and develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates for rehabilitation and maintenance projects.
• Design technical drawings, layouts, and plans using tools like AutoCAD to support project implementation.
• Revise plans and specifications as required to accommodate project needs or field constraints.
2. Site Engineering and Supervision:
• Supervise construction and rehabilitation work, ensuring adherence to technical standards, and timelines.
• Monitor the implemented quantities and the technical specifications of the projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across all project sites.
• Conduct field visits to monitor and evaluate progress, address on-site challenges and provide technical solutions.
• Following up with the daily worker on site on a daily basis.
3. Assessment and Planning:
• Conduct field assessments and verify the general needs in the targeted communities to evaluate infrastructure needs and determine project feasibility.
• Ensure the project meets the donor requirements (location, safety, impact)
• Prepare technical reports and contribute to project planning and proposal development.
4. Coordination and Collaboration:
• Liaise with contractors, community leaders, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support procurement processes by providing technical input for material and equipment specifications.
5. Community Engagement and Capacity Building:
• Engage with community members to promote participation in project activities.
• Provide training and guidance to local workers involved in construction and rehabilitation projects.
6. Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and site inspections.
• Prepare detailed progress reports on a weekly basis and share updates with the project manager and project team.
• Prepare monitoring sheets of the project implementation progress on a weekly basis.
• Capture professional pictures during the stages of implementation for the daily, weekly, monthly, and final reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering or architecture.
• At least 3 years of related professional experience in the same field.
• Experience with site supervision and working with contractors and sub-contractors.
• Experience in developing BoQ and detailed drawings.
• Good communication, interpersonal and coordination skills sensitive to the cultural environment.
• Good computer skills.
• English skills will be an added advantage.
