Responsibilities
Key performance areas and main responsibilities:
Orientation
On the program level:
•Participate in developing the national mentoring program
•Collect data for youth lists and their educational and professional orientation.
•Support youth programs by communicating with various partners and preparing agreements with them in order to prepare training and qualification files for young people to ensure their benefit in the future.
•Provides technical support for youth leaders/supervisors and monitor the individual development plans for the youth that are related to their professional and academic development.
•Submit monthly reports on his work follow-ups (universities - institutes - professions).
•Cooperate with youth hostels supervisors to exchange information on young men and women.
•Participate in youth performance appraisal meetings.
•Help young people choose their professional and academic orientation by providing solutions that suit their orientations and make them available through our partners.
Prepare young people for working life and socio-professional integration
•Organize workshops and forums for youth.
•Psychologically prepare young people with external partners (hearings and exchanges with specialists)
•Determine the list of young people who will be in the professional labor market.
•Help young men and women find suitable training and jobs that suit their life and professional experiences and skills.
Development of partnerships
•Participate in youth forums and forums to make contact with various partners
•Contact companies, institutions, and organizations to form partnerships in order to promote employment and integration of youth and children in the villages of children.
•Find scholarships.
Human resources
•Develop individual business development plans.
•Participation in the elaboration of the mid-term strategic plan and the annual plan
•Participate in various training courses and periodic meetings that the organization conducts internally and externally.
Child Safeguarding (CS)
•Child protection is everyone's responsibility
•Responsible within own area of work to prevent and protect children of all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence and discrimination based on SOS Child Protection Policy principles
•Responsible for reporting any CS suspicion, concern, allegation or incident immediately following Child Safeguarding reporting procedures. CS reports should be made to the national CS focal person or any other member of the national CS team and/or to the respective line manager

Qualifications
•University degree in Social Sciences, Education, Sociology, Psychology, or any relevant field.
•Minimum 2 years of proven experience in similar position, with at least one year in a supervisory level.
•Knowledge and understanding of youth issues, trends, and programming, as well as knowledge of youth organizations and other resources.
•Proven leadership and management skills.
•An effective and straightforward communicator.
•Strong interpersonal skills with children and adults.
•Demonstrated effective conflict resolution and sound decision-making skills.
•Ability to communicate in both Arabic and English
•An understanding of the needs of an ethnically and economically diverse community.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
-Any certificates, license, and training related to the field that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
-A master's degree in a related field is preferred
