Responsibilities
With support from the Country Director/ in Syria and the MEAL Manager in HQ, The MEAL and Reporting Co-ordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring effective monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning processes within Mission East and the partners. This position is responsible for developing and implementing MEAL frameworks, coordinating data collection and analysis, and ensuring high-quality reporting on project impact and performance.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• A minimum of 4 years demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably having worked with an INGO.
• Knowledge in data analysis
• Experience in project cycle management.
• Experience in using and developing data collection tools, e.g. conducting surveys and the usage of KOBO or ODK applications.
• Experience in activities related to staff training and capacity building.
• Being accustomed to work in an atmosphere in which security concerns are a daily part of life.
• Able to deal with competing deadlines and deliver results.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and PPT.
• Awareness and understanding of good data protection practices.
• Ability to work and deal with competing priorities in fast moving work environment.
• Being familiar with the Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS).
