Responsibilities
- Conduct intake interviews with individuals identified by the team during outreach work
or referred by other agencies, and open a case if vulnerability criteria are met
- Carry out comprehensive assessments for each client after receiving their consent and
consider emotional, behavioral and social factors that affect their psychosocial well-
being as well as protection and risk factors
- Conduct home visits to assess clients’ living conditions when necessary
- Develop a tailored case plan with the client, based on needs identified during the
assessment
- Refer clients to appropriate services and when necessary accompany them to different
service providers
- Provide continuous basic emotional support and counselling through regular follow-up
meetings, establishing a relationship built on trust respecting confidentiality protocols
- Document cases on the internal case management platform and ensure that any
progress on action plan and any significant change in client’s psychosocial well-being
and overall situation is timely and duly recorded
- Ensure proper and safe filing and archiving of case management files to maintain data
confidentiality
- Close cases when objectives in the case plan are met and no further needs are
identified
- Carry out all tasks respecting key protection principles, including but not limited to: do
no harm, non-discrimination, confidentiality, accountability and need-to-know principles
- Participate in internal case management meetings and bring to immediate attention any
case of special/emergency needs to the Case Worker Team Leader
- Ensure good relationships and coordination with the main service providers in the area
of intervention to improve identification of persons with specific needs for prompt
referral, follow up and information sharing
- Identify and report gaps in the availability and quality of services provision for clients in
the target areas

Education
- University degree in a related field e.g. Social Work, Psychology or equivalent is an asset.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
- Conduct a daily variety of structured activities (recreational,
psychosocial and non-formal
education) within the center or outside, catering to the needs
of children of different ages and
genders and accordingly to the center activities weekly
schedule;
- Conduct peer-led focus groups discussions, informal skill
training and awareness sessions with
children, youth, men and women, accordingly to the center
activities weekly schedule;
- Support the CBPO in the development of contextualized and
culturally embedded awareness
materials
- Manage and lead Community groups like Child Clubs, Youth Clubs
and Women’s clubs and
work along with the PSS team leader in the Safe spaces such as
CFS, WGFS
- Facilitate the participation of all the segments of the target
population to the planned activities
held at the assigned center, notably the most vulnerable ones
(refugees, local community, youth,
women, elderly, minority members, people with disabilities
etc.), ensuring that proper attention
is paid to specific emotional and physical needs;
- Be responsible for and Engage the volunteers in the planned
socio-recreational activities held at
the assigned center;
- Maintain daily attendance registers and a weekly and monthly
inventory sheets for each activity
conducted and report the same to the PSS Team leader;
- Maintain and fill properly any distribution list or attendance
lists for the activities conducted or
the distribution done, under the supervision of the PSS Team
Leader
- Informs the supervisors about any difficulty met in INTERSOS
activities implementation;
- Be up to date about all new information sent by Protection
Project Referent or the PM
concerning the project, the context and the beneficiaries;
- Be available to participate in meetings and trainings in and
outside the centers and/or in Intersos
office when requested;
- Accomplish any other assignments given by supervisors or the
PM.
