Responsibilities
• Transfer data from paper-based forms (e.g., attendance sheets) into electronic surveys, spreadsheets, software, or databases using keyboards, data entry applications, or scanners.
• Type in data provided directly by beneficiaries.
• Scan documents and print files as needed for digital storage and reporting.
• Verify data accuracy by comparing entries with source documents received from Education Assistants or Sub-Supervisors.
• Identify and correct data gaps or data cleaning.
• Update existing records to reflect status changes (e.g., new or absent children).
• Provide weekly reports to assist the team in tracking children's attendance, including percentages, to support follow-up on absences.
• Respond to data-related queries and provide requested information to team members or donors.
• Support the Education Officer with inputs for 4Ws reporting.
• Design and manage spreadsheets (e.g., Excel dashboards) covering all targeted locations at the governorate level.
• Upload and maintain data dashboards online (e.g., via OneDrive).
• Apply new tools or systems to identify and report new beneficiaries.
• Retrieve data from the database as requested by stakeholders.
• Compile CMS data from partners into a centralized master file.
• Sort, archive, and organize paperwork and digital files for data protection and future reference.
• Perform regular data backups to ensure data preservation.
• Store sensitive information in protected digital formats.
• Ensure all data activities comply with data integrity and security policies.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all personal and sensitive information, and seek support from the Data Analyst as needed

Qualifications
-Excellent knowledge of processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
-Working knowledge of office equipment and computer software
-Basic understanding of databases or Kobo, ODK platforms
-Good command of English both oral and written
-Great attention to detail
-Proven data entry work experience
-Familiarity with administrative duties
-Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner
-Typing speed and accuracy
-Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
-Confidentiality
-Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
-High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset
-Working knowledge of office equipment and computer software
