Responsibilities
Lead overall project implementation, scheduling, and progress tracking.
Coordinate with local authorities, partners, and community stakeholders.
Supervise staff and ensure quality delivery of activities.
Oversee reporting, budget monitoring, and compliance with donor rules.
Facilitate coordination meetings and manage risk mitigation.
Document lessons learned and support sustainability planning.


Qualifications
Minimum 5 years in project management, preferably in humanitarian, recovery, or urban development programs.
Experience managing multi-stakeholder coordination in fragile contexts.
Strong leadership, organizational, and reporting skills.
Familiarity with Syria, especially Aleppo, preferred.
Fluent in Arabic and English (required).


Specific Vacancy Requirements
SSU is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of the Jarat Al Qala’ Weekly Market project in Aleppo. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination, partner engagement, work planning, monitoring and reporting, and ensuring compliance with donor and organizational requirements.
