Responsibilities
-Develops and maintains centralized MEAL databases and dashboards.
-Ensures interoperability between different MEAL tools and software (Kobo, Power BI, EMR, etc.).
-Leads the development of data visualization tools for reporting and decision-making.
-Ensures data consistency, accuracy, and security across all sub-national offices.
-Develops standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data collection, cleaning, and validation.
-Conducts data quality assessments (DQAs) and provides feedback to field teams.
-Reports to UN clusters.
-Support sector teams in designing, testing, and building digital data collection tools
-Contribute to the development and improvement of data management systems (e.g., HIS) and provide technical feedback.
-Support program and partner staff in using digital data management systems and tools.
-Follow up on timely and accurate data entry into central data aggregation systems.
Support data analysis requests to inform monitoring, evaluation, and decision-making processes.

Qualifications
- A university degree in computer engineering, IT, Analytics, or any related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in developing and managing health information systems or relevant fields with INGOs.

Salary and Benefits
The salary will be defined according to the SAMS Syria Office salary scale.
