Responsibilities
I. IT Systems & Network Support
•Provide first-line technical support to users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
•Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, Network, and IT equipment.
•Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
•Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including server security and software updates.
•Manage database of Aga Khan Medical Center (AKMC) and provide reports as required.
•Assist in the implementation and ongoing support of IT projects and initiatives.
•Manage and monitor local networks (LAN/Wi-Fi), internet access, and server security.
II. IT Infrastructure & Asset Management
•Maintain an updated inventory of IT hardware, software, and licenses.
•Ensure timely maintenance, repair, and replacement of IT equipment.
•Support procurement processes for IT equipment and services in line with organizational policies.
III. Data Security & Backup
•Implement and monitor IT security protocols (antivirus, firewalls, access controls, encryption).
•Ensure regular data backup, recovery, and storage compliance.
•Train staff on safe digital practices, including data protection and cybersecurity awareness.
IV. Systems Administration
•Support organizational systems such as email, shared drives, and collaboration platforms (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, etc.).
•Assist in the rollout of new IT initiatives, applications, and digital tools.
•Liaise with external IT service providers to resolve technical issues.
V. Compliance & Policy Implementation
•Ensure adherence to organizational IT policies, donor requirements, and data protection standards.
•Support internal and external IT audits.
•Contribute to the development and update of IT procedures and standards.

Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science.
Experience:
•Minimum 3 years of relevant IT support experience, preferably in NGOs, INGOs, or humanitarian organizations.
•Strong knowledge of Windows environments, networking, and cloud-based systems.
•Experience in Database Management.
•Experience with IT troubleshooting, hardware maintenance, and systems administration.
•Familiarity with data protection, information security standards, and backup systems.
•Fluency in English (written and spoken).
