Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Tenders Specialist is responsible for managing the full tendering process, from identifying opportunities to preparing and submitting high-quality proposals, in coordination with internal stakeholders. The role ensures full compliance with tender requirements, deadlines, and company standards, while supporting business development and growth initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
• Monitor and identify relevant tenders, RFPs, RFQs, and bidding opportunities from public, private, and donor-funded entities.
• Review tender documents to understand requirements, scope, eligibility, and submission criteria.
• Coordinate with internal teams (technical, finance, operations, and management) to collect required inputs and documentation.
• Prepare, compile, and submit complete and compliant technical and financial proposals within deadlines.
• Ensure all tender submissions meet client, donor, and company requirements, including formatting and compliance checklists.
• Maintain an organized tender database, tracking opportunities, submissions, deadlines, and outcomes.
• Support clarification requests, addenda, and post-submission follow-ups with clients or donors.
• Assist in contract preparation and handover to project or operations teams upon award.
• Maintain updated company profiles, templates, CVs, and supporting documents required for tenders.
• Support continuous improvement of tendering processes and proposal quality.

Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated practical experience in tendering and proposal development within services, consulting, or NGO sectors.
• Experience with donor-funded or NGO tenders is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with procurement and contracting procedures is preferred.
