Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning of SARC Risk Awareness and Safer Behavior (RASB) and Non-Technical Survey (NTS) teams’ activities at the national level, including needs assessments, casualty data collection, RASB sessions, and/or any other Weapon Contamination (WeC)-related activity SARC RASB and NTS teams are implementing.
- Ensure that RASB and NTS interventions implemented by SARC are in line with the Movement RASB Guidelines, internal SOPs, and
the IMAS and reports accordingly.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report the impact of WeC direct and indirect interventions.
- Collect data on WeC casualties from open sources at the local level and share with the Data and Analytics Officer for further mapping.
- Conduct desk and field risk assessments of areas of priority, with recommendations upon need.
- Produce WeC-related maps and reports, on a monthly basis and upon need.
- Participate in risk assessments and risk management by providing WeC-related input and recommendations.
- Liaise and follow up on WeC-related matters with the local authorities, under the supervision of the WeC Coordination, and reports accordingly.

Qualifications
- Relevant degree from a university or technical college.
- At least 3 years of overall professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years' work experience in WeC/mine action or similar field.
- Very good command of written and spoken English.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experience in Risk Awareness and Safer Behaviour (RASB), and Non-Technical Survey (NTS)
- Excellent teaching and presentation skills.
