Responsibilities
Trainer – 70%:
- Carries out and provides support for learning and development programmes and facilitates LnD training programmes.
- Contributes to planning designing, developing and evaluating the delegation learning and development budget and programmes.
- Analyses learning needs evaluations and identifies priorities and strategies for learning and development within the delegation.
- Contributes to the administrative and logistical organization of learning and development.
- Coaches’ delegation training relays.
Integrity Advisor – 30%:
- Provides guidance and support to managers and staff regarding the Code of Conduct and related policies and guidelines.
- Conducts capacity-building activities within the delegation through information-sharing, dialogue and training, in order to:
1) enhance staff awareness and understanding of their roles and responsibilities in nurturing a culture of integrity.
2) foster positive ambition for principle-based, ethical decision-making.
3) support staff in making ethical choices when fulfilling ICRC’s mandate and commitments with respect to people affected by conflict.
- In coordination with the delegation’s Code of Conduct facilitator and the Regional Integrity Adviser, supports the delegation in identifying training needs and developing and implementing a training plan; tracks and evaluates training efforts and training completion rates.
Other responsibilities:
- Responsible for compiling delegation training budget and training needs analysis for Institutional and non-Institutional courses.
- Provides support to training needs of mobile and resident staff including language courses.
- Supports departments in organizing trainings, eensures training exercises and materials are adapted and fit for context and operational activities.
- Reviews IDevelop request before validation, provide guidance, and ensures all IDevelop requests are in line with the guiding framework.
- Responsible for onboarding new employees through the WICRC, SAFE1 and CoC trainings and HR briefings and updating delegation training reports.
- Follow up on external missions (Support/Development/Training) in the delegation and blend it into the general development guidelines.
- Coordinates and supports employees in their personal development Plan.

Qualifications
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, social sciences, law, or international relations, and/or relevant professional certification in Learning & Development.
- 6-9 years of experience in training design and delivery at another organization or company.
- Experience in ICRC or any humanitarian field operations, such as security management, general operations, essential services, and communication, is an asset.
- A training qualification or certification in learning and development delivery within 1 year of assuming a similar role is an asset.
- Proven experience in contributing to environmental, social and governance projects and/or integrity and ethics and/or compliance-related projects, and in collaborating within and across cross-functional teams and units, in a matrixed environment.
- Good command of English and Arabic.
- Computer proficiency.
