Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager (PMP) is responsible for leading complex, high-value projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, governance discipline, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across technical, business, and executive levels.
The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to drive delivery excellence, risk management, and continuous improvement across project portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex programs and projects
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Ensure adherence to scope, quality, and timeline commitments
Governance & Methodology
• Apply PMP / PMBOK standards across all project phases
• Establish project governance, reporting structures, and controls
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Stakeholder Management
• Manage senior stakeholders, clients, vendors, and partners
• Facilitate executive updates, steering committees, and decision forums
• Resolve conflicts and align stakeholders around project objectives
Risk, Issue & Change Management
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
• Manage change requests and scope adjustments through formal change control
• Ensure issues are escalated and resolved effectively
Financial & Resource Management
• Own project financials including budgets, forecasts, and cost control
• Manage resource allocation across internal teams and third parties
• Track project performance against financial and delivery KPIs
Team Leadership
• Lead cross-functional project teams (engineering, product, operations, vendors)
• Coach and mentor junior project managers where required
• Drive accountability and performance across project teams

Qualifications
Experience & Certification
• 8+ years of project management experience
• PMP certification
• Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects or programs
• Experience working in technology, platforms, fintech, POS, or enterprise systems
Technical & Delivery Skills
• Strong knowledge of PMBOK / PMP methodologies
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
• Proficient in project tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.)
Leadership & Communication
• Excellent stakeholder management at executive level
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to influence without authority and drive decision-making
• 8+ years of project management experience
• PMP certification
