Responsibilities
• Support for the implementation of child protection activities in schools.
• Establishment and management of a referral mechanism
o Lead on regular service mapping in the respective governorate of responsibility.
o Support the establishment of WWGVC’s referral mechanism.
o Manage, track, and follow up on WWGVC’s referrals in the governorate in coordination with WWGVC’s Implementing Partner(s), ensuring safe, confidential, and appropriate referral mechanism.
• Implementation of protection and child protection activities in schools
o Ensure all project activities meet minimum standards and are inclusive for all children, including those who have been marginalized and those with disabilities.
o Support the project team in preparing the work plan and time schedules for implementing Protection and CP activities and achieving targets.
o Carry out regular field visits to monitor activities’ quality implementation. Ensure all project activities meet minimum standards and are inclusive for all children, including those who have been marginalized and those with disabilities.
o Flag any child protection-related technical/operational issues to the Protection and Education Coordinator..
• Contribution to technical support, coordination, and development of child protection and PSS activities
o Support project team in implementing risk mapping activities with children.
o Support the Education Coordinator in the design of Protection and Child Protection related tools.
o Contribute to developing training and provide teachers with the opportunity to develop their skills for the identification of high at-risk child protection cases.
o Ensure that regular relevant guidance is provided to education staff in NFE centers and to the partner, in line with Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action.
o Ensure timely, accurate, and ethical data collection and sharing in line with the adopted protection monitoring methodology; clarify data where needed and triangulate information with other sources to ensure reliability.
o Support the data analysis and produce regular protection reports in line with the global Protection Analytical Framework and standard terminology, highlighting key protection risks, patterns, and trends in coordination with the relevant colleague(s).
o Carry out regular field visits to monitor the data collection process for quality assurance, provide support, and ensure tools are being applied appropriately.
o Represent WWGVC in protection related working groups at sub-national level under the guidance of the Protection Coordinator.
o Support the coordination with other protection agencies in the governorate where needed.
• Provide support for other activities as requested by management.

Qualifications
• Relevant university degree (e.g., psychology, social work, international development), or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of proved practical experience in protection working for a specialized NNGO/INGO, in particular in child protection, Case Referral and Management.
• Proven experience in protection reporting, including ability to collect, interpret, analyze and synthesize information.
• Familiarity with international human rights, international humanitarian law, refugee law, and regulatory frameworks for internal displacement, as well as Protection Analytical Framework, and Protection Information Management principles.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to coordinate constructively and respectfully among people from varied backgrounds
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suit (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with qualitative and quantitative data analysis applications.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and attention to detail.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Experience in this field in Aleppo or Deir Ez Zor governorates is desirable.
