Responsibilities
•Ensures the correct execution of payments relating to personnel and to purchasing goods, works and services in compliance with ICU and Donor’s procedures;
•Ensures correct accounting and administration of the funds;
•Archives the administrative documents (procurement tenders, accounting documentations, etc) according to required procedures;
•Monitors the level of ongoing spending, providing any feedback to the Project Manager to ensure the progress of the activities;
•Supports the Project Manager in processing bank reconciliations;
•Supports in the preparation of financial reports;
•Follows up the daily administrative tasks;
•Prepares the Purchase Dossier for all the procurement activities;
•Supports in the organization and management of suppliers' contracts, including collecting all necessary documentation and ensuring coherent follow-up;
•In coordination with the rest of the colleagues in the department, keeps updated every Logistic Archive (equipment, fleet, etc.), being responsible of the compliance and update of all of them;
•Identifies potential suppliers and/or contractors;
•Follows up cars’ maintenance and car log-book;
•Updates inventories, ensuring correctness of delivery notes vs ordered supplies’ quality and quantity;
•Any other necessary tasks as requested by the Project Manager, Procurement Expert and/or Regional Office.

Qualifications
•Minimum qualification required: Bachelor's or master's degree obtained at least 2 years ago in Economy or similar. Other qualifications will also be considered positively if supported by post-graduate specializations;
•Knowledge of foreign languages: excellent knowledge of Arabic and English and/or French;
•Previous experience in the sector of professional expertise: at least 2 years of experience in accounting, taxation, management control, procurement;
•Previous experience with procurement and accounting procedures of AICS, EU and other relevant humanitarian donors: at least 1 year;
•Previous experience in cooperation interventions: at least 1 year of experience in the cooperation sector, preferably in the emergency sector, with an international NGO or other international agency;
•Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, organizational software; general and solution-oriented;
•Understanding of IT issues is an asset;
•Knowledge of foreign languages: excellent knowledge of Arabic and English and/or French;
