Responsibilities
Main Purpose of the Job
To plan, manage, and control all project activities to ensure successful project delivery within the approved budget, schedule, quality standards, and safety requirements, while achieving client satisfaction and optimizing the utilization of company resources. The role also represents the company in dealings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
A. Project Planning and Execution
Scope: Construction Project Management
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, implement, and monitor the Project Execution Plan (PEP) to achieve project objectives.
Manage project schedules and ensure adherence to approved timelines and milestones.
Oversee all technical, administrative, and operational aspects of the project.
Ensure that all technical information and project documentation are clearly communicated to the project team.
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions in case of deviations.
B. Financial Management and Cost Control
Develop, monitor, and control the project budget in line with approved cost plans.
Apply effective cost control techniques and analyze cost variances.
Ensure timely certification and collection of client payments in accordance with contract terms.
Coordinate with the Finance Department to prepare accurate financial and cost reports.
C. Resource and Team Management
Identify manpower requirements and ensure alignment with project needs.
Lead, motivate, and manage the project team to achieve performance targets.
Prepare and implement efficient mobilization and demobilization plans.
Evaluate team performance and support their professional development.
Delegate responsibilities to ensure effective workload distribution.
D. Stakeholder, Client, and Contractor Management
Select, schedule, and coordinate subcontractors activities.
Manage relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure project success.
Represent the company in meetings with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Coordinate with government entities to obtain permits, approvals, and project clearances.
E. Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE ; QA/QC)
Ensure full implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and standards on the project.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control requirements.
Monitor safety performance and participate in safety committee meetings.
Ensure all project personnel comply with safety rules and use required PPE.
F. Compliance and Corporate Policies
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
Maintain confidentiality of company and project information.
Promote and maintain a safe, secure, and productive work environment.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.

Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil preferred; Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical acceptable).
- PMP certification is considered an added advantage.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of overall professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Proven experience in construction works and infrastructure projects.
- Experience in rehabilitation and renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and construction practices.
- Proficiency in engineering and project management software (MS Project, Primavera, ERP systems).
