Responsibilities
1.Oversee the daily operations of the laundry facility, ensuring a smooth workflow and optimal use of equipment.
2.Train, and supervise laundry staff, including laundry attendants, machine operators, and supervisors.
3.Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that linens and garments meet established standards of cleanliness.
4.Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues in the laundry process.
5.Manage inventory levels of linens, uniforms, and other laundry items.
6.Coordinate with purchasing departments to ensure an adequate supply of materials for ongoing operations.
7.Develop and manage the laundry department budget, controlling costs related to labor, supplies, and equipment.
8.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as environmental and industry standards.
9.Stay informed about changes in regulations and update practices accordingly
10.Collaborate with relevant departments, such as housekeeping or food and beverage, to meet their laundry needs.
11.Address customer inquiries and concerns related to laundry services.
12.Coordinate with other departments to establish laundry service schedules that align with overall operational needs.
13.Generate reports for management related to laundry operations, productivity, and costs.

Qualifications
1.Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field (preferred).
2.Minimum 3 - 5 years of Previous experience supervisory or management experience in a laundry department.
3.Knowledge of laundry chemicals, fabrics, and stain removal techniques.
4.Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment and maintenance procedures.
