Responsibilities
-Prepare the survey design, including methodology, questionnaire and sampling.
-Train data collectors prior to data collection process and conduct pre-field testing of survey instruments.
-Supervise data collection in the field and provide quality assurance. Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting on data collection tools for the Third-Party Monitors.
-Supervise data entry and provide quality assurance.
-Data analysis
-Produce survey reports including findings and recommendations
-In coordination with the Project Manager/Coordinator, present findings and recommendations to UNICEF PME and relevant programme colleagues
-Produce dashboards
-Support UNICEF programmes in information management functions, as needed

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
-University degree in a field related to the scope of work.
-At least one year of progressively responsible relevant work experience on managing surveys including all its steps.
-Experience with the UN or other international development organization will be an asset
-Background/familiarity with emergency response will be an asset
LANGUAGES
Proficient in English and fluent in Arabic is required.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
-Excellent skills in developing methodologies, sampling, questionnaires.
-Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyse collected data to inform the indicators defined for the survey.
-Excellent report writing skills.
-Ability to conduct training for data collectors per data collection process.
-Capacity to work in an emergency context under stressful conditions and strict deadlines.
-Analytical & conceptual ability, negotiating, communication and advocacy skills.
-Ability to organize complex work and projects.
-Good computer skills, including experience with various software applications especially data analysis software like PowerBI
