Responsibilities
General Role:
The Stabilization Support Unit (SSU) is seeking to hire a Logistics Officer to join its team in Aleppo. The Logistics Officer will contribute to supporting humanitarian operations and ensuring the efficiency of supply chains and logistical services. The role involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of all logistical activities, including procurement, transportation, storage, and asset management, ensuring that programs and projects are supported efficiently and effectively in line with organizational policies, procedures, and international standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage daily logistical operations in alignment with program needs.
- Supervise procurement processes and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Manage warehouses, ensuring proper storage and tracking of materials.
- Coordinate transportation and distribution to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Manage assets and equipment, including conducting regular inventories.
- Prepare periodic logistical reports and analyze data to enhance operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security standards across all logistical activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Support emergency operations and rapid response activities as required.


Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of practical experience in logistics, preferably within the humanitarian sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management in line with international organizational standards.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and logistical systems.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team environment.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of an additional language is an asset.
- Commitment to humanitarian principles and standards of integrity and transparency.
