Responsibilities
Implements health programmes within his/her geographic area or field of responsibility/ expertise.
Conducts assessments and regular field visits (when relevant) to monitor activities and health-related threats to the population.
Ensures proper management of information collected and appropriate, relevant reporting.
Participates in analysis of and reflection on the overall health situation; contributes to realistic project proposals in line with the delegation's objectives and priorities.
Helps organize meetings; advises staff members on various matters such as culture, politics, the economy, security, etc.
Maintains good understanding of the activities and objectives of the Hassakeh (HAS) SD and role of health in the structure.
primarily responsible for health programs in assigned priority zones.
Supports technically the ICRC supported Health Centres (HC) to ensure that the program is understood and implemented (Training & demonstration, monitoring and supervision) in accordance to designated standard/ protocols.
Provides support to other health programs as required i.e. high level of activity, holiday relief etc.
Participates in financial monitoring of the costs involved in the project(s)/ activities supported.
Ensures completion and forwarding of relevant documentation for Distribution Tracking
Provides interpretation and translation as needed and with accuracy.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in medicine or nursing.
3 to 5 years of total work experience (including 2 years of clinical experience) with minimum 2 years’ experience in the humanitarian sector.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Computer literacy.
Excellent knowledge of the assigned geographic area.
