Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The IT Support & Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, supporting employees with technical issues, managing email accounts, and ensuring stable network operations. The role involves troubleshooting Windows-related problems, formatting and configuring computers, handling user access and passwords, and supporting backend systems when needed.
Daily Tasks
Provide technical support to employees for computers, software, and network issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve Windows operating system problems (login issues, system errors, slow performance, etc.).
Install, configure, and format computers and laptops when required.
Manage email accounts:
Create new email accounts
Reset email passwords
Rename or modify email addresses
Configure email on Outlook or other email clients
Troubleshoot printer, scanner, and hardware issues.
Monitor and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi).
Install and update required software and security patches.
Help with user permissions and access rights.
CCTV Problems (Camera turned off or something)
Weekly Tasks
Perform Email checking Login logs and security checking.
Monitor network performance and connectivity.
Check server status and backups.
Review and maintain user accounts and permissions.
Maintain IT equipment inventory.
Monthly Tasks
Review network security and firewall settings.
Perform data backup verification and recovery testing.
Update documentation for IT systems and configurations.
Report on IT performance and issues management.
Technical Skills Required
Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server).
Ability to format, install, and configure computers.
Knowledge of network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches).
Email management experience (account creation, password reset, configuration).
Understanding of Active Directory and user management.
Basic knowledge of server administration.
Familiarity with backend frameworks or server-side technologies.
Knowledge of IT security is the best practice.
Experience with hardware troubleshooting.
