Responsibilities
1.Manage and monitor daily financial operations related to programmes and projects.
2.Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
3.Track expenditures and ensure compliance with approved budgets and plans.
4.Support the preparation and review of annual budgets in coordination with relevant teams.
5.Ensure compliance with AKHS-S financial policies, procedures, and donor requirements.
6.Review financial documents for completeness and accuracy before approval.
7.Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
8.Support internal and external audit processes and provide required documentation.
9.Follow up on advances and ensure timely settlement.
10.Provide financial support to programme teams, particularly the CASI project team, to ensure activities are implemented according to approved financial plans.
11.Perform any other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.


Qualifications
Education:
-Bachelor degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or any related field.
Experience:
-At least 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts.
-Previous experience in preparing and managing financial reports for NGOs is an asset.
Skills - Competencies:
-Strong financial analysis skills.
-High attention to detail and accuracy.
-Strong organizational and time management skills.
-Ability to work under pressure.
-Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
Technical Skills:
-Excellent level of English (written and spoken).
-Good user of Microsoft Office programs.
-Good knowledge of accounting systems is an advantage.
Other requirements:
-Not a government employee.
-Commitment to financial policies and procedures.
-The ability to commit to working with AKHS-S during official working hours.
