Responsibilities
Planning & Implementation
• Develop quarterly and monthly work plans for SBC and RCCE teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Lead the implementation of community-based SBC activities and initiatives.
• Promote innovation and proactive approaches to design impactful and context-appropriate interventions.
Supervision & Team Management
• Supervise and support field teams to ensure quality implementation of activities.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor team performance and provide guidance.
• Build the capacity of team members through coaching, mentoring, and training sessions.
Community Engagement & Mobilization
• Establish and support community committees and work closely with them to design and implement community initiatives.
• Facilitate community participation and ensure inclusion of diverse and vulnerable groups.
• Conduct awareness, advocacy, and capacity-building sessions for communities and stakeholders.
Coordination & Representation
• Coordinate with key stakeholders, including local authorities, directorates, influencers, and community leaders.
• Participate in coordination meetings.
• Represent the organization in SBC-related forums when needed.
Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports in coordination with the Project Manager and as per donor (UNICEF) requirements.
• Contributes to the preparation of donor reports and updates.
• Ensure proper documentation of all activities (reports, photos, success stories) and maintain organized archives.
• Ensure accurate registration of beneficiaries using approved tools and forms.
Logistics & Administrative Support
• Oversee inventory and proper use of materials and supplies related to community initiatives.
• Ensure accountability and proper tracking of distributed items.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, communication, or related field.
• Or Minimum 3 years of experience in SBC, RCCE, community engagement, CP or related fields.
• Good Level in English speaking and writing
• Experience working with NGOs and/or UN agencies is an asset.
• Familiarity with donor reporting requirements (especially UNICEF) is preferred.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent listening, observation, and community engagement abilities.
• Ability to build trust and maintain respectful relationships with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Problem-solving mindset with adaptability in challenging environments.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
• Commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, values, and objectives.
• Experience in designing behavior change campaigns.
• Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation tools related to SBC.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong coordination skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in emergency or humanitarian settings is an advantage.
• Or Minimum 3 years of experience in SBC, RCCE, community engagement, CP or related fields.
